Birthday Reminder: Tracker

Our approach to privacy

Birthday Reminder: Tracker is designed to work without an account. The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies, and we do not sell personal information.

Information stored on your device

Information you add, including names, birthdays, anniversaries, other occasion dates, photos, contact details, relationships, notes, favourites, and gift ideas, is stored locally on your device. The app and its widget use an Apple App Group container on your device to share this information with each other.

Contacts

Contact access is optional. If you choose to import contacts, the app reads contact names, birthdays, photos, phone numbers, email addresses, and contact identifiers so you can review and select the people you want to add. Selected information is stored locally in the app and is not sent to us.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device for the dates and times you choose. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.

Data sharing and third parties

We do not receive, sell, rent, or share the information stored in the app. The app does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.

Data retention and deletion

You can edit or delete people and occasions inside the app. You can remove all locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at collecting information from children, and no account or online profile is created.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app's features or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
